What Is Tycoon Express?
In the update on May 20, 2025, Monopoly GO added a new season event, Tycoon Express, which will end on July 2 with Star Wars Go album, and then a new round of Tycoon Express will start. There are 7 reward levels in Tycoon Express:
- First Class (Starting Tier)
- Premier Class
- Deluxe Class
- Elite Class
- Supreme Class
- Mogul Class
- Mega Tycoon Class 1-5
- Master Tycoon Class (Last Tier)
These 7 levels represent 7 different carriages. Every time you enter a new carriage, you can get various rewards such as Monopoly Go stickers, emojis, shield skins, avatar frames, etc. But remember, Tycoon Express resets at the beginning of each season and all players start over from First Class.
How To Join In Tycoon Express?
Tycoon Express is currently a feature in beta, and not all players can join in. Only players with a net worth of a certain value can receive the qualification to join in Tycoon Express.
The first carriage that players can unlock is First Class. You need to collect 5 Express Coins in the tournament to unlock First Class and get the rewards. You can check how many Express Coins you need to move to the next car in the current car.
The more luxurious the car, the more Express Coins are required. To quickly unlock more car rewards, you have to work hard to improve your ranking in the championship leaderboard. The higher your ranking, the more Express Coins you get. Most tournaments only last for one day, so here are Express Coins you get for each rank:
- Rank 1: 8 Express Coins
- Rank 2: 7 Express Coins
- Rank 3: 6 Express Coins
- Rank 4: 5 Express Coins
- Rank 5: 5 Express Coins
- Rank 6: 5 Express Coins

It’s very difficult to get a lot of Express Coins, so you can think of it as a long-term task. When you don’t have many Monopoly Go dice, just keep them and don’t invest too much in the tournament. When you have accumulated enough dice and observe that other players’ scores on the leaderboard are not high, you can try to rush to the top of the scoreboard, so that you can get 8 Express Coins and a purple card pack at one time.
What Rewards Does Tycoon Express Have?
Since Tycoon Express lv7 requires too many Express Coins, we don’t know how many Express Coins are needed for Mega Tycoon Class and Master Tycoon Class, but once the season ends, all unobtained rewards will disappear, and your progress will not be inherited to the next season.
Some rewards currently known are as follows:
- Level 1 First Class: Emoji and Sticker Pack (You need to get 5 Express Coins)
- Level 2 Premier Class: Emoji and Sticker Pack (You need to get 20 Express Coins)
- Level 3 Deluxe Class: Blue Profile Ring Profile Frames (You need to get 40 Express Coins)
- Level 4 Elite Class: Blue/Teal Profile Ring Profile Frames (You need to get 65 or 70 Express Coins)
- Level 5 Supreme Class: Railroad Xing Shield and Blue/Teal/Pink Profile Ring Profile Frames (You need to get 100 Express Coins)
In addition to the rewards for each level, another benefit of increasing Tycoon Express level is that it can increase the rewards of the tournament point leaderboard, such as dice, cash and even tokens. But it does not increase the number of sticker packs and Express Coins you get.
It increases similarly to the way the net worth is increased. As the player’s net worth increases, the player will receive more cash rewards in various ways.
When you successfully enter a higher car in Tycoon Express, the points reward you get in any tournament will be slightly increased.
Tycoon Express is a better change than net worth, because it can help you find which friends are working hard on the current album on the leaderboard. This is very helpful for choosing partners.
Net worth is not very useful now. Some players may have a very high net worth, but it doesn’t mean that they are still playing Monopoly Go recently.
But on the other hand, this change doesn’t make much sense for most players, because most people are in the rank 19-100th level. They can’t reach level 5 in the entire season and are level 4.
